Search for a carport in Brisbane and the first prices you'll see are flat-packs from about $1,800. They're a real option — if your ground is level, your span is standard and nothing sits close to a boundary.
Most Brisbane blocks aren't like that. Slope, span, setbacks and character or flood overlays are where a kit stops working, and it usually stops working after the money's been spent.

The council part is our problem, not yours
Most carports and patios in Brisbane need approval. What decides it is the mean height of the structure, how close it sits to your boundary, and whether a character or flood overlay applies to your property.
You can build to within 500mm of a boundary with your neighbour's written agreement. Approval usually runs 2–6 weeks.
We prepare the drawings, lodge the application and deal with the council. Send us your address and we'll tell you where you stand before you spend anything.

Consultation and quote
We come out, measure the space, check the fall of the land and the roofline, and talk about what you actually want covered. You get a fixed price.
Deposit and check-measure
A Master Builders contract is drawn up. On receipt of the deposit we check-measure on site so the drawings match the ground.
Council approval and materials
We lodge the paperwork with your council and order materials, delivered direct to your property.
Construction and sign-off
Our team builds it, and a certifier inspects and signs it off. The people who quoted it are the people who show up.
Up to ten weeks from order to handover.
