Louvred roof patio, Carindale
Adjustable blades over an outdoor lounge — open for winter sun, closed when the weather turns.

Illustrative example. This case study stands in for a confirmed Sunstate job while the real project details and photography are being finalised. It is representative of the work, not a record of a specific build.
What the job needed
A courtyard used year-round rather than seasonally. A fixed roof would have solved summer and taken the winter sun away with it.
What we built
A louvred opening roof: the blades rotate, so the space is open to the sky when the weather is good and closed when a storm arrives. It is the most expensive way to roof a patio and the most flexible, and it is worth it on a space that gets used in every month of the year — which is exactly the question we ask before quoting one.
Council
Approval prepared and lodged as part of the build.
